...just some more FYI - for those attending the AOTY at Aquan.....

REI is right across Aquan, in case you need to buy some quality outdoor stuff...there is also "Runner's World" (for those who love to run) in the same shoping center as well as Wallins (right behind REI) - for those spear fishermen on the board.

I'll bring some kind of meat entry, not sure what kind yet

  I wont know for a couple more days if I can make the event.

Just me... because my finance is rafting the Grand Canyon for three weeks, without me!

I hope the fiance is not also the finances for the weekend!  In other words, where's your wallet?  .  J/K.

Can you give some more info on Redwood Creek?  Sounds like it'd be nearby to Aquan and weather is looking great for next weekend, but haven't checked tides.

Now there's a Freudian slip... I meant to type "fiancée"... she would get a chuckle out of that, but we're not going to tell her now are we?

Redwood Creek is the name is the shipping channel between the deepwater channel in the Bay and the Port of Redwood City... every time I have bought bait from Laine's in Alviso he has been telling me I need to fish there, not at the Dumbarton or OAP, so this Sunday (and perhaps Saturday) I'm going to heed his hopefully sage advice.

- free launch at boat ramp for cartoppers, and about a 5 minute drive from the ramp to Aquan.

For that area on Sunday the tides are as follows;

High 0752 @ 7.6 feet
Low 1554 @ 0.4 feet

I will get grass shrimp from Laines as long as I know how many peeps will be fishing.

I will try to make it to aquan for the awards.

This will be my first NCKA gathering, looking forward to meeting some of the members.

Rollin solo. Unless somebody wants to carpool from Monterey/Salinas. Will be fishing Calero Res prior to the event.

This would be my first NCKA gathering.  Sounds like a great opportunity to meet some people to fish and kayak with.

I'll bring a Bacon or Shrimp Layered Salad.

I'll be there with Laura, as this is a good excuse to shop at REI for our upcoming ski trip:smt003
I'll of course bring the awards, plus some sort of dish to share. I'll plan on bring something that will go with grilled stuff.
