Hey guys, Allen his son Patrick, my son Kyle and I went out to Clear Lake this morning. The weather started off pretty good. Anyhow, that is what I thought. It started to rain and the wind was blowing later on in the day!!! By about 1200 I had enough and was pretty cold. Went in and sat at the local pub for about an hour waiting to see if Allen and his son was coming in. The pub serves a pretty good clam chowder soup, and cold beer to warm up the body. Allen and his son are still out on the water as I write this. YOU GUYS ARE ANIMALS!!! Below are some pics of Allen , Patrick and Kyle with fish. I caught and released a couple of dozen of fish myself. Allen will probably post those. It was a good day. OH, and just to let everybody know, the last pic is what I came home to looking out my back door.

Rory my wife wants to know if you laid down and did a Snow Angel? :smt044
Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

A Steelhead always knows where he is going, but a Man seldom does.

Don't worry Tote, I think it's coming at you. Any day that you are fishing, is "ALWAYS" better than work. Once again, Allen and Patrick, "Good Job" :smt044 :smt044 :smt044

Rory, You and I had a good laugh in the pouring rain when I repeated what YOU said just before we launched.....I think it went something like......."Look I think the sun is trying to poke through the clouds....it might turn out to be a decent day."  It was great fishing with you and Kyle. You were on roll fishing that peak just outside the sailboat...one fish after another.  It is so nasty out during the first couple of hours, hardly any effort was made to actually catch the worst of the weather on film. It was snowing the biggest snow flakes I've ever seen going home over Hopland Grade  .. an added treat for the day.    When are we gonna do it again!

Was doing good until my waders got a big "Rip" in the crotch. Next time I wear my wetsuit. As far as going again, "How about next Friday" :smt044 We can post in "Hook-ups" and see what happens. :smt003
