A photographer guy I know got these shots a couple of weeks ago. I've never seen a cormorant this ambitious before! The striper is around 14" long. The cormorant chuggs it and then sat motionless for an hour or so with a huge bulge in his neck! No size limit here!

Those birds don't mess around.  I saw one at Chabot trying so hard to eat a trout that was obviously too big.  It wouldn't give up though.
