Canadian-made expedition touring kayak (for intermediate paddlers) purchased in June 2005 but only used five or six times. Excellent condition (minimal hull scratches from normal use) and always rinsed off, waxed, and stored in the garage after each use. Cockpit cover, sprayskirt, and paddle float included.

A dream to paddle but getting lonely in my garage (I’m now paddling an SOT for kayak fishing). Someone should be having a great time with it. Asking $2,200.

There are plenty of high performance kayaks out there today but none are even in the same field as the quality of construction that goes into a Seaward Kayak. The Chilco is an outstanding kayak and grease lightning at 18 feet. It has hard chines which means you can maneuver it in the water like a 15 foot boat. I've made several crossings out to Catalina Island and todos santos island while paddling a Chilco. It was comfortable to sit in for hours on end and has more cargo space than you'll ever need.  I already have 6 Seaward Kayaks so I'm stocked but if you were ever looking to do a crossover from your SOT this would be a great first sea-kayak. I sell those boats brand new for $3600 so that's a great deal Big J is offering.
