Took Jelly to the ever dirty Russian for a desperate go at some steelhead.  While Jelly has made some great catches over the years, steelhead have been his multi-year devil fish.  We matched the hatch and tied on some BIG BRIGHT hardware and gave it a go.

After about twenty minutes Jelly got bent, but it popped off as quickly as it showed up...doh!  I told him not to get bummed and keep on fishing...somebody's in there!

Another 40 minutes later blaAAAMMMMmmo!  Jelly is on!!!  After a nice battle and a lot of gator rolling Jelly broke the curse with a nice 7 pound wild buck!  Congrats kiddo.

After a healthy dose of photos he went on his way...

Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

A Steelhead always knows where he is going, but a Man seldom does.

WOW!  What a BEAUTY! :smt007  I can only dream of such a fish.

Congrats kiddo.

Maybe it's because I'm a softy or maybe it's because I now have a child, but that is my favorite part of the report.
