Mud landing: Im in the middle, green prowler going bare-leg savage , the trick is paddle till you cant anymore, transfer all the weight in the yak to the front, step out and to the back of the yak and put most of your weight on the stern, and blast. Its soooo easy, the yak skims effortlessly, its as fast as walking. A bit messy but thats why its called mud.
After we left it looked like a sea turtle nest-fest!

Nice going Ben you are the King of over and under. you do know there is a outdoor shower right behind the bathrooms
Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

A Steelhead always knows where he is going, but a Man seldom does.

Most of the spawns are going on inside the closed zone right now. THere was a nice one going on just S of the 101 Richardson bay bridge yesterday evening (we were on our way to sushi at Sushi Gourmet where i need direct deposit).
It was bottom of the tide, and the birds were going nutso...

FYI...Herring currently spawning in Richardson Bay and in Raccoon Straits.  I heard they spawned at the Marin Rod and Gun Club, so they probably spawned around San Quentin.
Spawning was heavy from Paradise Cay down to Bluff Pt.  So far this is the first big spawn this season in the North Bay.

27.95. Sturgeon Closure. Green sturgeon and white sturgeon may not be taken in the following
described area between January 1 and March 15: That portion of San Francisco Bay included
within the following boundaries: A direct line between Pt. Chauncy (National Marine Fisheries
Laboratory) and Pt. Richmond, the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge and a direct line between
Pt. Lobos and Pt. Bonita.

Ben, you truly are a savage!!!  I've been MIA quite a bit lately.  Congrats to you and Anita.  I really enjoyed the pic of you guys shooting up the beach at China Camp in the mud.  I wish I would have thought of that technique so long ago when we landed north of there and I pushed my hobie outback forward with my paddle.  Ug!!!  Way to catch a dino albeit small, still your gettin off to a good start in '08.  JTF..
