Howdy all -

I'm outfitting my "new used" kayak for kayak diving.  Can someone point me to a shop in Oakland or San Francisco that carries kayak diving & fishing accessories?

I'm new to this board (and to this sport), so any tips on local resources would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks a lot!
Steve

:smt006 Hi Steve and "Welcome to the Madness".

If you don't mind driving to San Carlos, talk to Joel/"Mooch" at Aquan Sports.  Mooch is very knowledgeable and helpful, though he is somewhat new to diving; he's one of the original founders of this group and an all around great guy.   Tell him you just joined NCKA.

Hope this helps,  -Matt/HobieSport

Thanks Matt.  My buddy lives down in Foster City, maybe I can get him to do my bidding...

Only kayaking accessories and I am not sure what all they have in stock but this is where I purchased my Cobra Tourers a couple years ago. The people were super friendly but you might call first. On a side note they are or at the time were one of the only Cobra dealers around.

Steele's Discount Scuba - you will have to look them up as I do not think they have a website. I have been to the one in Berkeley in the past not sure they are still even there. But if memory serves there should be one in Oakland and maybe SF also.

He is a changed man ever since he bought his hog and joined a biker gang....Satan's Helpers. After the mlpa meeting he was doing donuts on the street and purposely went out of his way to not help an old lady cross the street.

When you see him ask to see his new tatoos.
..........agarcia is just an ex-kayaker
