Lake Sonoma Hot 2/11

Not the fishing just the temp. Beautiful day on the lake, Water temp 59.5 air temp low 70s felt like 80. Launched at about 10:30 Trolled from the dam to Yorty creek and back for 0 hits, caught 1 small smallie dropshotting. Waters still pretty cloudy, a lot of fish jumping at the trees and the screen was blacked out, sat on them for an hour tried everything for nada. saw Bryan out there sorry dude if I knew you were coming I would have been there earlier. As you can see by the pictures the lake is full. Great day for a paddle.

Hmmm, looks like the river's going to stay mocha for a while, with the lake like that...

wow, that's pretty warm like Spring...  jumping trout but no biting...? but I bet it was still nice day to be at there tho...
last time, I went lots of debris on the water too.   are they cleared up little?

Nice report - headline got me!      I wish I was close to that spot.  I'm jonesin' up here!   

That's as full as I've EVER seen it!...WOW! (been there once last year) and can't wait to get up there again! There are lots of arms, coves and hiding places at Sonoma.

Dont sweat it Mike... Its not like you missed anything not getting there earlier.  I fished roughly the same area as you and got roughly the same results.  I tried a variety of depths and got squat.  It is a little early still, need the water to clear up a bit, and about a week of good warm weather without the cold nights.. Then the surface will erupt!  I love fishing lake sonoma... beautiful day out there dispite the lack of cooperation from the fish..
