A buddy and I are heading to Comanche or Amador(haven't decided) for the weekend of 26th and 27th for an over nighter.  We're actually open to other venues depending on intel.   This will be my maiden fishtrip with the new yak.  Can't wait.

I guess I'm safe on the additional "rental" yak purchase too, so far..... so I've still got the Kitchen Pass.   Does anyone have recent intel?  Fish plants recent?  Anything for this short bus rider. :smt002 I think I drove it a couple of times too.

The invite is open for anyone (rookies and veterans) that want to join us for the day or even the overnighter.  Most of you will be chasing the Dino's in Monte but I've got to work my way up to that.  Baby steps.....

It has been decided.....We will be at Comanche next weekend.  We may play in the pond with the yaks to get the "greenies" used to fishing out of my "rental fleet" on the first day and move them up to the main lake the following day unless we're on fish.
I spoke with the Comanche people at ISE and asked if I could throw a kayak or four on the pond.  There is a size restriction I guess but the people there who work the gates and pond area said no problem for the 14' boats.  So good for the "greenies" but bad for the fishies.

So if any others want to join in the more the merrier.  I'm much more merrier with a nice frosty pint between my legs with spares in the soft side. :smt003

Sounds like a great time, but I will getting my last licks in on the waterfowl. Have a great time. Perhaps we could hook up if you try this again.
