Bought a Wilderness Ride older model but like new .Someone brought it back because it leaks.The thing I was worried about is the store cut the serial number out of the back.Now theres a hole in the back.How would I go about patching the hole.I paid 300.for it and can't take back.It looks in new condition.Any coments are welcome.

Tightline you need to plastic weld a piece of kayak plastic cut to fit the hole. Check online for plastic welding articles.

It sounds crazy, but I've been doing all my repairs and hole fills with a high temperature glue gun.  You just need to heat up the edges where the glue will adhere to.  Put some tape on the back and fill the hole up with hot glue.  Sureform off the excess after it cools.

Send Zilla a PM and ask him. He is the MASTER at exactly what you need to do. I know he has done 2 maybe 3 boats with the exact same cut out as your boat. I couldn't even tell there was ever a problem.
