Just looked at the Marine forcast for the weekend.  Looks marginal at Linda mar.  Moss looks pretty good.  Anybody going to Moss?

What the marine forcaste say about linda Mar. I was planning to head out on Saturday.  How long of a paddle is Moss.

This is the report this am.  I don't know for sure but it sounds marginal to me.

I just checked surf pulse for the forecast and it calls for 3.5 swells at 9 secsonds, if the wind is down and the forecast holds linda mar should be good.  Also it says the swell from the south which means the launch should be better than what I dealt with on Thursday.
Sunday for the derby looks like the best day of all.

Jason - 2 to 3 miles at the most - depending on where the fish are (or the fleet)

just got in from a surf. there were about 4 party boats a mile or so off of the beach. looked like they were mooching or live bait i guess. they've been there for about 4 hours now.  hmm, wonder if the salmon pulled out of moss and are heading into the gate?
