Passing the 300 MILE MARK of MADNESS@ZumaSlough (w/more pics)12/23

Yes! you read it right!...that's THREE-HUNDRED MILES of ON-THE-WATER-MADNESS!

Didn't think I'd ever be doing this, for that amount of distance, when i first "signed up" as the FisHunter ,way back in Jan06'.....how time does FLY! (or paddle?)

it was great being out there and i wouldn't have traded it for anything else in the world......and if you believe that BULL-LINE?   Ijustcan'tsitstilllikethat,anymore!...but i'll be back tomorrow to DO IT ALL AGAIN

I looked, paddled, casted, zig-zaged through all the same areas that have been holding BIG MARKS=fish, and had a hard time counting 5, compared to last two two weekends of over 20 marks.

Oh yeah!     Another great report, Adam.  Thanks for keeping us hooked up on some real action while most fisheries are dormant and most fisherfolks are scrambling to finish the family holiday.  I can't wait to be back on the water, paddling to wherever...  I'll have at least my camera and a will to explore and experience things NCKA style!   You're providing great motivation.

I talked Duane and Dave away from "Disappointment Bend" and we paddled about two miles towards the BIGGER/better? waters of GrizzlyBay. Came up a bit short on that mission(7mi. away) Found that pipe,found some bubbles and then found the MARKS I've been seeking

pic8~ and stumbled across this fine FUTURE NCKA PLAYHOUSE on the BAYOU'!...it needs a little work, but I can see lots of potential with that seperate "in-law suit"

No love from down-slough, so we paddled back to beat the unforgiving OUT-FLOW, Suckers'Point never looked so GOOD!
all that paddling south and only saw a few fish on the finder. Returned to the hole of previous let down to end my day.

You'll have to edumacate me on how to read a sturgeon on that picture.   All I see is you and your camera. 

BTW, the full moon might have something to do with the fish not biting. They may have been feeding during the night. I highly recommend you go next Sunday.

fishunter, your starting to get that far-away look in your eyes. like a poster child for fishaholics annonomous. on the bright side, i'm starting to feel a whole lot better about all the fish i don't catch.
