KICKIN BASS

Met Hydro at the Bait Shop in L.P., after he pulled a 24 hour shift.  He looked rough.  I thought since he was tired, I would be able to punish him on his own turf.  WRONG.  He bought a case (24) minnows, and I got an 18 pack.

We almost had a double hook up as we rolled onto this point.  He had a couple of take downs, and then it was fish on.  Not a great day,  but it was a GREAT DAY OVER ALL .  I caught 3 or 4, and Hydro nailed at least 6.  No real size.  We took a lunch, refreshment break before going to round 2.  Off the lake by 4PM, and Hydro went back to the Richmond B&G.  He's right the place is great, and the owner is cool.  This would be a great spot for a bass tourney in the spring.

Fatigue was a factor and if KickinBass wasnt at the ready this morning, I would have been sleeping.
Thanks Andy! today was not meant for sleep but for bassin.
We had the haunts to ourselves and fairly good conditions, but it just wasnt unhinged like friday.
I went to the big jig for nothing, never felt the craw-groove today.
Threw a swimbait with 0 results.
Nothing on a big hitch ripbait, but I took one off the edge of a dock with a pumpkin senko.
It really is kind of humbling when I can find fish but not seduce them with artificials, then to take victims with the live bait seems to only compound the fact that Im not that good,  yet.

Kickin was on the move and I went into the park to check scores. When I was leaving I noticed that the wind was settling and the moon rising. It was easy to pick up on.
Tonight is the night it will bust loose.
Unfortunately I forgot my cape and need some sleep.

Naoaki, They were nice fish, Im just use to the ones that Hydro produces on a regular basis.  They were nothing like the ones Tote and Mako landed last spring.
