Insaneduanes Sturgeon board

OK guys here it is this has been in my mind for some time.
For those that have been on a charter sturgeon boat and has
Seen the rod holders that is used on these boats, it tilts up and down
With the waves so that your line is always tight that way
You can always see the bite because the rod will tilt when
The fish taps your line. And as for a kayak you get blown from
Side to side as well so my sturgeon board has to move in all
Directions so the line will stay tight.

Now the cool part of this is that it just drops on my ram tube
I am not sure if I will need to use a strap to keep the rod
On the holder or will it just hold on its own ether way I think
It will work it is better that holding the rod all day.

Hey Duane.  Pretty slick.  It should work.  Those teeter-toter style rodholders are the way to go.  I sometimes use the platform pedals on my Hobie drive for the same purpose.
