Had Huge Hopes of Bagging the Monster SMB Today, Did not get on the lake till 12, late call @ work stalled me a bit...

Marked tons of Fish piled up, This lake is about ready to explode...

Hard to get to them to hit, dropped live minnows on their head, spooned even trolled for a land locked Kings.

Miss one Hit @ 100' !!!!  Keep Sweating ChuckE!!!!!! :smt002

Great weather out there, alittle wind here and there, but over all very nice, should be better tomarrow..

 Still, picked up 5 LMB's largest 17", 2 SMB largest 15 1/2" , tossing broken Rapala,

SMB took it to the Gut, Floater.... Filet and Released.... :fat .............. Danglin

:smt044 Maybe you should ask Santa for a tape measure for your paddle!

Great report and pix, Don! Glad to hear you found a break from life to get back on the water--fishing and paddling are so rejuvenating.

Danglin,no hard feelings...

 Ahh,  Thanks,     "Fisherman from Okinawa"

 I'm sure I'm " Guilty " of spelling that wrong :smt003

Looking @ the measurements of some of the top 10,

kind of gets me as to why I'm " The Poster Child " of bad measurements. :smt011...

I guess it's the sewing tape,

I just picked up something that would be easy to deploy and store, thinking that getting close would be good

enough being this was just for fun.  :smt102

I want to go buy something, but even looking at the tape measure photo's, I see descripensies with those too.

Waiting to see what Bill comes up with so we can have some consistency,

 I launched @ Markely Cove... $15.00 :smt019....

Had a couple of issues as to why I launched there...

I wanted to fish by the dam,   I had all my Firefighting Gear, lap top and extra fishing gear for a poss. sturgeon hunt so,

I did not want to leave my truck unattended,

Capel cove I guess is the only free launch, that lot @ putah creek is a option,

but a bit of a hike, have not tried it yet,

fish seem to be stacked up @ 30', Gut feeling it's like that all over the Lake...

probably really hot first thing AM.... Danglin
