We're ending our second week in Guangzhou, then back to US on Sat. Wife swears I get a partial day pass mid-week, hopefully the Gov will open the bay by then.

Wow!  Congrats to both you and your wife Steve.  You are going to be a great dad.  Save that shot #30, to remember what a full head of hair on your crown looks like.

Welcome to fatherhood LOL

That's way cool. A bit of advice, if you see this before you depart. Departing out of Guangzhou is hectic. Or at least it was when my wife and I were there in 2002. Much worse than Shanghai, Hong Kong and Haikou. Give yourself plenty of time.

Congratulations,
Scott

Steve congrats on your new family! My wife, stepson, and I made a similar journey to Taiwan. It seems like just the other day, but over 6 years have flown by. Now I have a little fishin buddy.
We enjoyed the photos from your trip. They brought back memories of the flood of emotions along with the many different sights, sounds, and smells.
