Plan to fish this lake for the first time Saturday with an old college buddy that I coincidentally reconnected with through this site.  NCKA Rocks!

Plan on being there when it opens at 6:00 AM.  Company welcome, Channel 69.  I paddle/peddle an orange Hobie Adventure.

Michael

I'll be there  :smt003

But, probably not until 8:00 or 9:00 due to the distance from Vallejo. I had a great time fishing it this past weekend and was already thinking I would be headed that direction this Saturday.

No radio for me, but I paddle a sunrise P15. I'll keep an eye out for you.

BTW, right now it is supposed to rain on Saturday. I'll be there rain or shine, but I know some folks prefer dryer weather.

Rats on the rain, oh well.  Rain or shine for me ... as of now!  :smt044   Could be singing a different tune Saturday morning.

 :smt006 Hi Dilbeck,

My boating buddy/neighbor Herb just bought a Hobie Adventure last week and we took it and my little "Sport" upriver two days ago.  Herbs' smile was so big I thought his face would crack.  :smt005   Good luck to you and your buddies on Saturday.  -Matt

So your sayin' he likes it!  :smt003  I know I love mine.  After months of deliberation and procrastination, I finally finished modifying the day before BAMIII.  I couldn't be happier.  One of these days I will get around to posting pictures.

Hi Michael,   My mistake; Herb bought a Revolution.   Good thing he didn't get the Adventure or I might not be able to keep up with him in the Sport.  :smt003  As it is, he kind of calmly chugs along while I dart around exploring in the Sport.  We hope to take them on Mendocino Bay this Friday but only if the weather is good and the sea in calm.  After the last storm here a lot of the surface seaweed is gone so we may or may not be using the mirage drives and rudders.   It's all good.   -Matt

Damn, would really like to be out there on Sat, but have a funeral to go too.  Gonna try and get out on Sunday, been dying to try out Del Valle!  Hope to see you on the water some day Michael!

I'll be there as well. Sunrise p15. SF Giants hat. Can't wait. I'll find you on CH 69 if I get there after 6am. I'm driving up from Santa Cruz so no promises on the timing  :smt002

Cool, this should be fun.  First time fishing with anybody from the board excluding BAMIII.  Hopefully you guys can give me some pointers as to where might be good - seeing as how I've never fished the lake.

My college buddy won't be able to make it because he is on business in SoCal but it will be fun meeting some new people.

FF, we can talk SF ball, or lack there of!   :smt044

Al, back at you.  I'll drag your goodies along with me and I'll drop them off if you leave me with directions.  PM me or call the cell, you should have the number.

See you guys tomorrow!

Michael

Hey Dil,

This is only my second time fishing this lake. My first time was in the dog days of summer last year and I had very little luck. Only one small trout for the day. So we're kinda in the same boat. I'm really looking forward to trying this lake again and attempting to redeem myself  :smt044

As for the Giants....ya I'm sure we'll have plenty to talk about. Lots of changes happening this/next year.

This will be only my second time on the lake too, but my first time was Monday and I scored some nice trout. No radio for me, but I'll see you all on the water.
