Entry Fee: $10.00 heavy trout pot, $5.00 heavy trout stringer pot

Heavy Trout Pot: 1st - 70%, 2nd - 20%, 3rd - 10%
Heavy Trout Stringer: 1st - 100%


I will not be doing paypal for this event. Post in this thread to sign up. I will be collecting money/checks on the day of the event. This is a money between friends event.

Damn same weekend as the Steelie seminar have fun.

Although I know nothing about Stealhead fishing and there's probably not a better venue to learn, I can't pass up the opportunity to fish a lake that was in my back yard while growing up.

Count me in for both pots!  Will probably arrive on Friday early evening.

How many people will be staying Sat. night?  Should there be a pot luck dinner after the tourney?

I am in for the derby. Still working on lodging. May be staying in Murphy's if not just driving up for the day. If the potluck is in the afternoon right after the weigh in then I am in. If it is later I will pass. Thanks for organizing. The east bay team should be well represented.

If I roll solo, I'll just car camp. But if my wife and baby boy come along, we'll need to find accomodations.

im in if i can get it off of work, i work in retail and from thanksgiving to x-mas im blacked out from requesting days off (damn i gotta get out of retail )

I'm planning on being there, as long as I'm not on call. Put me down for 2, the girlfriend wants to fish too.

I think a lot of people are on the fence because it is winter. If you are a maybe still post up so I can plan. If anyone needs a place to crash friday night on their way from the bay area let me know.

OK, it's for real: I don't have to babysit after all so I will be able to participate in the tourney IF I can find a place to stay (the cheaper, the better). I haven't called any motels yet so, Brian, if you have room for me to crash somewhere on Friday night, please let me know. I would be ever so grateful! Thanks!

You're more than welcome to stay friday night at my house. I'll set up the air matress in the spare room. I can accomadate two people in the living room.

I might just be nuts but depending on the weather, I may just throw up a tent.  Should the weather be dismal though, I will be staying at my mother's house in Modesto.

We might actually have enough people to start a rollcall/headcount.     Me + 1 friend.

Pat, I knew you'd come around!  I'll even share with you the few Melones secrets that I have.     Don't know how effective they'll be, but it's what I've heard and it'll be what I'm trying.
