Pat~ if your going 101? take the LakeMendo exit, go(L)@the lites, then(R)@the lites, you will be going thru a residental area, stay straight(a few mins.) and you will see the shop on the leftside, There are U-HAUL signs and a parklot, YOU CAN'T MISS IT! then continue straight on that street and it will take you into the lake and put you at the SOUTH LAUNCH

How do you reserve campsites?  Are they first come, first serve?  Or can you reserve online? I want to go, but there is a chance I will have to work Sat. morning.

You can not reserve any site this time of year(mid-oct.) I called and tried last trip. It is First Come First Serve

Ben~ if you tent it, you can just set up in our site, but you gotta park AWAY from the site in the overflow lot.
        Kiel/ReelKnots is comin(get together on a site) and we can get a combo-site first thing sat.

The only camp spots available on a first come first serve basis is on the KYEN campgrounds. NOTE: None of the water front sites are available.

I can camp tomorrow night, Ben, if it'll get you to chill with us on Saturday.

OOPS, spoke too soon. I MIGHT end up having to watch my GF's kids tomorrow night.

I'll know for sure tomorrow morning.

Pat, they are SUPPOSE TO BE open at 8AM.....last time we were there, we waited almost an hour I don't know if their number has changed but I'll try to find out what the scoop is.

Might hit it Fri night, I have the go-ahead for both nights. Got me a keeper!

I will definitely miss Kiel's ribs  and Adam's beans that I've yet to taste.    Gotta finish up putting my roof rack together.
