I went out Friday, yesterday, the 29th, targeting squid, butts, lings etc. I expected AT LEAST  as good as I hit it last week, ~80 squid 5 rockfish etc. Barely got anything... maybe 4 squid, I did get lots of lingcod bite-sized sanddabs, saved some for next time I go to Sonoma. I got a couple of huge mackerel on my sabiki. I got a descent Cabbie, maybe 18"? And a similar sized brown rf. I saw a dead sea lion floating in front of Del Monte beach so I imagine the tax man is in the area too. I don't know what changed so much in one week. It was cool meeting 'Mendocino Kayak Fishing' I follow his channel and enjoy his videos so it was cool to see him on the water.  Anyway, it's always a good day on the water when you get off it safe. Tight lines!
