Good afternoon, folks,

Got on the water around 6 a.m. yesterday and headed over to the red can for some bait.  My buddy and I did really well on the dabs between 180-220 fow.  We also hit on a school of squid passing by.  I ended up with about 12-15 squid before heading out for some bigger game.  I caught a really big copper on a live dab, and subsequently caught--but didn't keep ofc--another 5-7 coppers using more of my dabs.  I also caught a 16 inch brown, which was great.  Unfortunately, I wasn't able to catch a keeper ling or hali, but it was still a great day on the water.

I saw some folks catch some nice rockfish toward the rocks near lovers point, so I may have to check that out one of these days.

Also, I ran into @Recon on the water, haha.  He's a great guy and I made sure to let him know I really enjoy his videos.

Until next time,
Phil
