Fisherman X pyrotechnic posts were some of the cooler things I’ve read here.  There’s an handful of screenames that have been somewhat of a constant over the years that serve as a reminder that ncka is still home no matter what changes…..his was one of em.  Our paths only crossed online, wish I would have been able to wet a line with him.

Fair winds and following seas brother.

I've noticed he kept posting in Funny Stuff until April 22. His last post below was about the after life.  RIP Fisherman X, we will miss you.

I would be interested in attending if open to friends. Would be a great celebration. They say a friend is truly missed when they are gone. Unfortunate. Rip , John.

I have no idea how this post didn't show up on my daily "Show unread" searches for the past two and a half weeks.

John was one of our very best, for sure.  I have a long list of great memories fishing and hanging out with John, attending one of his fireworks shows, abaloneing, salmon trolling, halibut fishing, Trinidad, Humboldt Bay, Cove, Lost Coast...

He will be missed.
