Update your fishfinder/electronics software before the season gets underway!

Just started getting all my Lowrance units updated. I have 10 on ten different kayaks and boats. new cool things unlocked. Mapping updates and fixes. Other manufacturers have free software downloads too. Almost time to chase fish!!!

My Lowrance fishfinder originally had maps loaded to it when I bought it off FB marketplace. I don't rememeber if I took an SD card out and lost it or reset something or what, but they're gone. I have looked at OpenCPN and downloaded some stuff, but I don't think that has what I want and it seems complicated. I need to look at what unit I have when I get home and pick your brain about what is worth buying/installing. Stuff is expensive and we are feeling pinched in this economy.
I fish MB from the Coast Guard Pier most often.

I just buy the newest navionics chip pre loaded. Check online/ marketplace etc for last years being sold?
