Not bullards? Too early?
my new name should be Ostridge. Got my head in the sand. Going fishing and letting go of the other stuff I can't control anyway!

Not sure about Bullards yet. The reports have been spotty. We tried for Kokes at Sly Creek a few weeks ago and it was not very good. Only caught 6" dinks. The Trout fishing was good though. Want to go some place that gives me a good chance at getting fish. This will be my last chance to fish before my Radiation treatments start next Tuesday. 7 weeks of treatment. Have to go every day except weekends. Then two weeks of recovery. I should be well enough just in time to make the BB Fish-N-Chill.

Ron, my apologies if you went and didn't find us. Two of the 4 of us ended up sick and not able to make it. I cant do the kayak thing with just two of us due to me not supposed to do any lifting yet because my surgery.
Ended up taking my buddies boat to Folsom instead. Launched at 7am. Took about an hour to find the fish over in front of the dam. Spent about 4 hours there. I ended up with 11 Rainbows and 3 Bass. All but one bleeder were released. No Kings. The Bass were small 12-13 but the Trout were nice and chunky, going from 14-18". All of them came from 10-30' on the wire. They hit a variety of lures, Speedy Shiners, Needlefish, Flicker Shad and Hoochies. Brass, Orange and White were the most productive colors.
