I need a new PFD. What do you all like? My old one was a Stolquist and it served me well. I left it in the hatch too long and it got moldy as hell. I just want to try something different, light, and with a good pocket or two.

I use an Astral Sturgeon and really like the built in pockets for whistle, pliers, and various attachment points. It also has a front pocket that zips open to almost form a mini "tray" kinda like a fly fishing chest pack. One thing that some might not like is the zipper is off to the side which might take some getting used to.

I did see the NRS gear is on sale right now with some decent deals on their site.

Those both look pretty good.

I ordered the Chinook OS for $110. Thanks for input.

The OS looks nice. Better pockets?
