Hey everyone! 👋

I’m a newbie kayak fisherman from Roseville and excited to finally join the kayak fishing community. I recently picked up my first kayak, a Salty 120, after getting hooked on crabbing and clamming with a buddy using his kayak. That experience pretty much sealed the deal for me.

I love being outdoors and catching what I eat, and until now most of my fishing has been local lake trout. Pretty soon I’ll be heading out for halibut fishing, which will be my first real saltwater kayak adventure — and I couldn’t be more excited (and a little nervous 😄).

Looking forward to learning from everyone here, soaking up advice, and hopefully sharing some good reports along the way. Tight lines!

Welcome Rayaddict. Are you in Roseville? Your location says Fremont. There are a lot of us in the Sacramento and surrounding areas. You are welcome to join us. We fish all of the fresh water in the valley, mountains and occasionally saltwater. Just reply when you see the invites on the hookup or tournament boards or post your own invite if you're looking for company on your adventures.
