I kept busy over the holidays and finally pulled the trigger on installing a fish finder on the kayak. I was curious if anyone had any experience using the clearvu option for the Garmin striker in saltwater. I know the clearvu covers significantly less area than the traditional sonar but the greater detail does seem like it could have its advantages. Anyone here put the clearvu to good use in the salt?
