I have not been to the SC harbor in months and was curious as to how the repair to the launch ramp is progressing. They are working on it, but it looks like it's going to be a while before it's done. In the meantime, there is very little parking.

There is also some work being done on the west jetty, and the bridge over the harbor is still closed. Finally, the slice at Pleasure Pizza was pretty good (OK, that's not harbor-related...).

Looks like plenty of room to launch. Guess it's all about getting there early enough to get a parking?  I am also guessing there is still overflow parking up the street. Do they have shuttle service from the overflow parking? More than likely I would get there early enough to get launch parking.

All of those Hobie Cat-like boats that are usually on the beach are now in the parking lot. That and the bunch of spaces taken up by construction leaves very few usable spaces. I’m pretty sure there’s no shuttle from the overflow parking, but on busy days I’ve always had good luck finding parking along streets that are a lot closer than the official overflow lot.

Thanks for the heads up.
