I want to fix fabric eyelets tearing out of my boots. I was thinking glue but now I'm thinking a stitch job might hold up better. Any experiences with a Speedy Stitcher? I've never used one.

Once you get the hang of it, they work great.
They are a lot of work for good looking results, so have you looked for a cobbler?
Aka shoe repair...

I have used one for minor stitching.  Watched a YouTube instruction before using it, and it was simple to use.

Hey, I'm no ham and egger! I know what a cobbler is
Nope, no cobblers in my neck of the woods. I thought about that already.
Thanks for the replies.

Nope, no cobblers in my neck of the woods. <snipped>

Unless they’ve closed, Ralph’s Shoe Repair in Ukiah (if you get down the hill once in a while) did a nice job on my dive boots, they added some felt soles.

One tip  ,  Look for additional needles, specifically lighter diameter/ga.
The one issue that you're going to find is overpowering the fabric.

The waxed nylon rocks for leather saddlebags and heavy canvas.
It's just a bit heavy for levi's and such...
