Launched in the fog with a spot in mind.  Radio check came back wit Norm on the other end working them promars.

The fog is funny on the mind when you think it's a yakker far in the distance and it's your friendly neighborhood pelican.  Reached my new grounds and picked up a limit by 10?  Kinda super stoked.

My radio wasn't too clear so I couldn't hype the victory too quick to Norm still sitting on 2 keepers.  "Brah!  Pack it up and get over here", I suggested.  In 20 minutes he was in the zone and dropped his and used mine as we battled a little current and some eel grass.  He limited by 11:30?  We paddled back shootin' the breeze and all was well.  No crab pics but certainly rockin' clouds today!

If you don't know where you're headed, any road could get you there.

I thought cloud pics were skunk pics when not accompanied by catch pics.
Did you get any jumbos?
(And what is considered a jumbo these days? 6.5"? 7"? )

No gauge busters.  No sevens...maybe 2 6.5's and the rest 6's and just under... :smt006

Nice job Eddie...  I have my own idea that I wanna try out soon in Tomales, may go up Tues if weather looks okay.

I'm doing okay this year but last year was so bad I've started to think of anything clearly over 6 as jumbos lol (historically though 7 was my general standard)

Thanks for calling me in to the honey hole, Eddie!  First pull of my big old promars had about 20 crabs, 4 of them keepers!  I ended up with two right at 7, and a bunch of 6 to 6 1/2s.  Always good to see you on the water brother!!

Got a PB on Saturday 15th at Lawson’s Landing, measured on site with a bend ruler between the fierce claws was like 7”-5/8, remeasure after cooked and clean the straight length is actually 7-1/8”. Look how big is this fellow compared to other keepers!
