my friends are the worst photographers.

admittedly, when I was young and trying to find myself, I majored in ART.  photography in particular.   total waste of an education - but that's a fun discussion over beers.

anyways, I still can compose a picture.  I take pics of my friend with their lingcod, etc and the pic is stellar. 

they snap me, it is laughable.  the guy I fished with yesterday, downright sucks with any photographic piece of equipment. 

I am going to up my Selfie game.  haha..

I really enjoy the energy and enthusiasm in your posts. With your background in photography, you should include more pictures.

My wife goes with me plugging on the delta in the fall. She takes the cake for lousy pictures. Rare that an entire fish is in the frame.

My old man wasn’t very tech savvy and modern cellphones were a pita for him…..every time I’d hand him my cellphone for a quick pic I’d get a nice snapshot of his fingers covering the lens or a horribly timed/angled/cutoff photo. 

I ultimately had to set my camera to record video and selfie mode, so I can set it down and see myself in tbe frame.  Then just screen grab the frame I wanted.
