Well, Eddie made the right call on skipping Tbay today. 6 hours not a bite. Launched at low tide. South wind which later settled down and NW wind came in briskly. Dropped the swim bait at 7:30 and fished south of Hog to White Gulch  pedaling against the incoming tide. Not my favorite. Drifted all the way back past yellow can and landed on Pelican Point and sat and ate lunch then pedaled back almost to White Gulch. Saw one guy who said he caught a fish. Crossed the bay north of Hog  then reeled up and made a hard run to my launch spot before 20 plus kayakers on a Blue Water tour could get there. As it turned out they went to the ramp where I go to the end of the lot and wheel the yak up to van. More work than ramp but less hassle from PB's and a flotilla of kayakers. Maybe next week try again when tides are more favorable for me.

I had a halibut sandwich from an extra filet I cooked the night before. Maybe an insult to halibut gods. Eating one of them on the water while fishing for them.

My philosophy is exactly opposite.  I promote eating my target sandwich.  At times they just surrender... :smt006
