Glassy conditions, but swell/moon/cool water seems to have killed the bite. Not quite a skunk so far, but just 2 puny olive rockfish.

The excitement so far was a shark drive by in about 110 fow outside of Mitchell’s Cove. A fin just leisurely strolled across my path about 15’ in front of me. Might’ve gotten just a brief snippet of video—will see when (if?) I get home…

Got a keeper sized ling and a few modest RF. Relased them and slowly working my way back to the harbor. Thankfully, Sharky has not returned—at least not that I know of…

As somebody who swims that zone I would prefer you keep that kind of info to yourself

One of these days I will own an AI, they look like a good way to go

I actually watched the shark fin for about 30 seconds, and for some strange reason "sea lion" was stuck in my brain, and it didn't register as a shark fin, until it was starting to submerge, in front of my AI. Right at the start of this brief video is about the last 2 seconds of the shark fin (don't blink).
