8/12/25 Mendocino Coast Halibut Report

I was trying to catch some sanddab for livebait, but I got a huge sanddab cousin, halibut.  This was my first halibut from Russian Gulch.

You drop the stringer while opened with the halibut? Lucky it didn't escape
