Mendocino Coast July 31 & Aug 1 2025 Report

The ocean conditions were bumpy and windy.  For both days, I had to move into the cove for wind protection.  Fishing was slow, and I had to work hard to catch some fish.

i was at my wife's coworkers retirement party this weekend.  met a random guy just talking about fishing, hunting, etc.

i about fell down, when he said.."this guy i know, his name is Paul fishes out of RG - nicest guy you will ever meet..(he goes on and on)"

i said, "yea!!  paul took me out for my maiden voyage!"

small world.  turns out, he is also on this forum.
