Walked the beach at Doran this morning. Weather was amazing. Saw a bunch of birds diving off the beach where Pinnacle Gulch Trail ends. An unknown kayaker was fishing about 300 yards away from them. The kayaker didn't seem to notice since they were not paddling towards them. Hopefully they were successful though. Another unknown kayaker was working three crab rings next to the rocks at the Doran Jetty. Looked like they might have been fishing too. Unfortunately I only had time for some exercise and then had other errands in town. I was not able to speak with them before leaving. Hopefully they post reports. Going to try and get out next week if the weather is as nice.
