Headed to Almanore 8/1 - 8/5. First time fishing the lake with the yak. Any suggestions on where to put in on the East side without paying launch fees?

Westwood beach used to offer parking for a handful of vehicles and. Rocky beach launch. Not sure if it’s been washed away or is still present and usable. It’s on the east side, south of Hamilton branch on Highway 89. There was a small sign that marked it for a while, also unsure it is still up.
With gratitude and humility
