The highlight of the entire week was meeting 123Engineering.  Paul.
Cool, Chill, patient, and a joy to fish with.

I played hooky from work today.  He graciously offered to take me out into the ocean for the very first time.  I’m had so much to learn.  Even the simple act of getting all the fishing Mise En Place (every thing in its place) was an unknown.  I had shit everywhere.  I watched Paul, made mental notes.   We hit RG and I never felt over my head. Paul obviously wanted me to catch fish.  The dude has a mysterious gravitational pull to rockfish.  Every time I looked up, his rod was bent. Haha.

I was snagging, drifting to/fro, tying knots, trying not to get overwhelmed by nausea when I was hunched over my favorite fishing knot.

Dang ocean fishing 🎣 is a whole other thing.   And a seal came up next to me and erased 2-3 years of my lifespan.  Haha.

And me?  No skunk.  And my pics suck.  Was so worried about u-boating my phone.

How long until the quit feeling the motion of the ocean while sitting on my couch?  :)
