In the Craigslist deal of the century, I picked up an old industrial sewing machine for free (I'll make a separate post on that...). After finally getting the machine to working reasonably well, my first project was a trampoline for my Hobie AI. I still need to get some webbing and buckles before I can give it a real test, but it looks like it's going to be a keeper.

Don't look too close at the stitching, as this was my first attempt, and I'm still learning. One thing I learned is that it is a bad idea to use black thread on orange fabric, as mistakes are highly visible...
