I went for the rare late afternoon session today and it was almost glass. Similar forecast tomorrow with <6kt winds and 1-2’ swell. I’ll probably go again tomorrow around 3 or 4

I went on Sunday the 29th, had to leave early and left with a skunk. Anybody else going on Thursday the 3rd I plan on heading out in the morning around 7-8ish for redemption.

A bit of a “fish sniffer” angle there makes it (and the tail) look bigger.
It was about 29”
Went back this afternoon and got another about the same size.  Bite turns on about 1-2 hrs after high tide. Lost another one and sort-of released another that was too small to gaff and I was trying to lip-grip it for a measurement

That’s good work.
Rockfish can be hard to come by there
