Someone didn't follow their proper boater protocol ?? Seems as though that raft would have the right of way if he was leading. If the larger boat was passing, it would be his responsibility to sound a horn if overtaking? All assumption on not knowing what the inflatable was doing?

As mentioned, hope the guys alright.

I don’t know, hard to tell from the angle and resolution but in the first photo it looks like the velocity is on course and the raft either was aside it and then ran under the bow or it came from the side and tried to pass perpendicular in front of it.  Either way…..law of gross tonnage….gtfo the way.

Hearing from a friend just a bit ago. Sounds like the larger vessel did not see the raft. See if any future statements differ.
