Hopefully launch by 7.  Bringing two crab traps and all weapons for hali.  Swimbait, live bait and slow jig setups.  No guarantees.  I caught my 40" on May 25th last year.  This is not last year but who knows... :smt006

Thank you!  I'll do mah' best!  I'm on a mad dash to eat all da Hali from last season so I can refresh da stash.

Bonus Recipe

1# Hali fillets dated...wait for it...9/30... :smt005
Time to start breading and frying.

Pat dry and sprinkle with chili powder, salt and garlic powder.
First coat potato starch
Dip in egg wash
Breading
Everything but the bagel blended with Crispy Onion
Grated Parmesan
Almond flour.
Amounts by intuition.  mostly onion...

Avocado oil to 350 in cast iron with bacon residue from the morning.

Maintaining heat at 350 so not to burn or saturate with oil 4 minutes on one side and 3 on the other.

Serve with homemade tartar sauce.  Mayo, capers, pickles, dill, Worcestershire, lemon juice and Dijon.

Bon Appetit :smt006

Launched at 7:30.  Met Shalom and headed North.  Glassy until 11.  Da crab are gone.  Kept two nice red rock.  Had ample smelt and skunked.  Warment temp was 63 at one point.  Met a guy who caught four like it seemed natural.  He also lost 3.  He gave me some valuable intel so stay tuned... :smt006

Hey Eddie!  I was also out in TBay on that day, but I launched back around Marshal.  Found bait, but no bites on live or artificials.  The hair moss is starting to show back there as well, so time to shift up to Hog to join the crowd.  I failed to check the board before going, so apologies for not pinging you in advance.  I'll hit you up next time I'm heading out.
