USA Saltwater Kayak Fishing Qualifiers & National Championship

Hi all,

I apologize for not getting this out to you all sooner, but I wanted to share an exciting opportunity to earn a spot on the USA Saltwater Kayak Fishing team in 2026. We have 6 regional qualifiers around the USA and this year the Extreme Kayak Fishing Summer Slam 2 will be our National Championship. A few qualifiers have already taken place and one is coming up this weekend in San Diego! We also have the Rockfish Classic in July as another west coast option. The top anglers from the regional qualifiers will receive an invite to compete in the Summer Slam. The top qualified anglers from there will then receive an invite to join Team USA for the 2026 Pan American Championship and possible The World Championships in Portugal depending where you place. Hope to see some of our Nor Cal peeps representing out there! Hopefully we can get a Nor Cal qualifier in the line-up next year for the 2027 team.
