Right after Thanksgiving sounds great - I could definitely use some instruction on reading water and landing metalheads.

I'll definitely be using a shorter yak for this kind of fishing. Jd and I were on our P15's the last time Mike took us out....our yaks were all over the place  :smt011 Granted none of us were experienced in river kayaking.....

I knew there was a reason I bought that OK Caper.  Oh wait, I'll be gone. :(

I guess I'll be doing my own self taught steelhead clinic on the Clackamas, Sandy and/or Willamette this winter.

Hey Mike, do you guys have a date set yet?  Is it the weekend after Thanksgiving, or is that just talk?  If it's not, let me know as I actually might be able to make it.  I'm looking into leaving my truck, kayaks and fishing gear here for a couple weeks after I move to Portland.  In an ideal world, I'd fly back down (new Portland -> Santa Rosa direct route on Horizon Air), attend river class and then drive my stuff up north afterwards.

Dec.8,9   I wanted to do it right after Turkey Day but I might have to work and it's a big WAF Building weekend. The big plus is that we have a shot at fish, although I have caught fish around T-Day it is rare.
