I've got an old Santa Cruz G1.  Leaks through the saddle and my amateur patching efforts.  I need space soon, so I'm down to cutting it up and stuffing it in the recycle bin.  I'm open to ...
  1.  Giving it to anyone who'd like to try to save her.
  2.  Suggestions on how to best dispose/recycle a plastic kayak.
  3.  Any other wild ideas.

Wish I have room and time to restore it.  Still own a G1 and love it.

I might be interested. Need to convince my space/funds/schedule manager, haha. Will have an answer for sure by the weekend.

Other than a leaky hull, any other major issues with it?

Where are you located?

Sounds like a fun project, and I hope that Speedy is able to restore it. Like most everybody else, I have no space, or I'd be waiting in line...
I don't like stuff that sucks.

Right on, I am up in Concord.  What is your availability this weekend?  I could probably slip down that way in the afternoon either Saturday or Sunday.

Thanks for offering this up - looking forward to seeing it in person!

Is it the original model, a  Sit In ?           The G1 is a SOT ..   G2 has the mirage drive option.

They all can easily be welded if there's a leak issue...

Just got home and unloaded. Thanks so much!

Super stoked to patch it up and get it on the water!
