Been in emergency since 10pm Tuesday.

Excruciating back and lower abdominal pain At one point I was doubled over with pain . I got up to relieve myself and the stone reared Its ugly head. I had uncontrollably shakes . So bad I felt like I was having a seizure that lasted at least 10 to 15 minutes. My son was next to my bedside and I could see he was visibly shaken. Love that guy.

Any who. I am scheduled for surgery around 8 or 9 am today. Hopefully all goes well. Otherwise I'll see you on the other side.  :smt001 In the famous words of , Fishmaster1. " I don't even like you guys". As well as , Scotty Meboy." F you and the horse you rode in on!!!"  :smt001

Had a couple a few years ago. Never want to go thru that again. Had the sonic blasting thing, bunch of diuretics (i think), and pain killers. Passing the remainders was zero fun.

Good luck.

Hang in there, everything will be back to normal when it's over. My Son's friend had a stone attack last year at Shelter Cove, and had to be air lifted to Willits. We felt pretty helpless as he was screaming in pain.

My brother gets those from time to time, closest thing to child birth a guy can experience from what I’ve been told. Hope your operation goes smoothly

I’m praying for you Alex!  It is the pain of childbirth I hear but don’t tell a woman that.  I had them in my youth and I’ll never forget the ptsd of something bumping or grazing my kidney area.  I pray you never get them again.

Hey Alex, I've had kidney stones removed. It wasn't fun but it was necessary. Takes about a month to heal. Just hang in there.
