Did everyone get the news about water craft decontamination?

Mike posted it a few days ago. I'm guessing that's going to put a major damper on attendance.

for kayaks there is a no charge inspection as you come in. CLEAN AND ABSOLUTLY DRY, even in the pole holder holes. there will be a lot less boats for sure.

Is Steele Canyon open for day use? I'm not really interested in more camping since I got BB and GS the following weekends but I could probably show for a day trip. Prime time for trolling for those Berryessa steelhead-like trout.

Yes, day use is allowed. Inspection as you come in. Call them to see when gate opens and when they inspect

Hell yeah!!! I should be there! Thanks for getting this going Dustin. Weather and all should be a blast. Last time I was up there the public boat ramp was closed. I think it's going to stay close because of the inspection thing. There should be no boat traffic up there. Bass will be mostly post spawn, catfish will be strong, crappie are always around. It's going to be nice. Looking forward to it.

Capell cove launch showing the high water line, the creeck arms were stained and greasy. There's no boat traffic,  I saw 2 boats in the steel canyon section of the lake Tuesday

Steele Park prices have gone way up! It was like $144 for 2 nights, after paying an extra $25 to lock-in the specific site. And we’ve all been there 100 times, it’s basically a cement parking lot with a couple trees. Either way, it’s gonna be a kickass fun weekend!
