Hi,
I read San Pablo reservoir is closed for private boating which I assume is also for kayaks.  It’s because of golden mussels in delta.

If anyone has heard any different let us know

I wondered as well so I asked, following is the response:

Good morning Mr. L

Unfortunately, I missed that section when updating the webpage with the Golden Mussel information. There will be no launching of Kayaks as our boat launches are closed until further notice.

Thank you for bringing this to my attention so I can make that correction.

Thank you,

Hello,

Your advertisement states that the boat ramp is closed due to the golden mussel, and then states:
Kayaking/Canoeing

You’ll find some of the best flat-water kayaking and canoeing in the East Bay at San Pablo, but bring your own since no rentals are available at this time. Paddle along 14 miles of shoreline and discover sandy beaches, great fishing, and interesting wildlife.

Please clarify whether kayaking is allowed, and if yes, where would we launch from?

Regards,

Thank you for asking them, Mark.
I was about to do the same as I saw the same thing you did on their site.
It's a shame :(
I really like kayak fishing SPR for trout...
