Just moved for the first time in 20 years.
I counted all my rod and reel combos and it seems I have 54 combos. Please tell me this normal ...

I mean... I've been wanting to build a new rod storage rack for some time to contain my problem... I think have around 20 combos, +- about 5 or so.  Looking forward to having your "problem" one day, haha.

I showed this thread to my wife and convinced her that I wasn't holding my own when it came to rod and reel combos. Thanks for giving me hope!

I just checked and I have 9. I feel so inadequate. But, if I make all combinations of those 9 rods and reels I have 81 combinations. I'm feeling better now

I struggle what to choose with my 4 combos...

I’ve got 3 salt plus 1 200 size that can do both, and 3 freshwater combos, not counting a couple junk combos that gather dust, and not counting 5 fly fishing combos. I’m pretty set but maybe a true salmon rod and maybe a heavy set up are missing.

I’m in the 70-80 combo range 

Moderator needs to shut this thread down before one of the wifeys reads it that knows other husband's wives on this site .
Or the story could read she wanted a combo purse and matching shoes for every combo I had.
