I am thinking of going out of the Santa Cruz Harbor Saturday or Sunday (9/13 or 9/14).  Anyone interested?

Hi there,
I am new to this sports. I just launch my inflatable @ Santa Cruz last Sun. You have to go down the stairs and climb down an ladder to the launch pad. After a few hour of paddling and fishing, its really hard to haul everything back up the ladder and stairs. I did catch a few rf and couple cabazon one 20 and 24 in. I have to release the smaller one. since you could only keep one. I am think of trying Capitola wharf this Sun, you could launch on the right side.

JLE,

He's talking about launching out of the SC harbor, not the wharf. No stairs. They have a hand launch ramp which makes launching really easy.

I wish I could join you khmunger. If it was any other weekend I'd be there but I've got a wedding to go to on Sunday and Saturday just isn't going to work for me either. I live here in SC so let me know if you wanna do it again soon.

Khmunger,
Like Fish Flogger, Walker and I being in Santa Cruz would love to have joined along but we are occupied with visiting family and soccer this weekend... another time.

THANKS FOR THE CORRECTION, FISH FLOGGER.
I am from oakland, the only place I know in santa cruz is the wharf. I guess I could try the SC harbor this sunday.

Hey JLE,

Are you the guy that I saw out there with your friend last weekend in the blue two man inflatable?
